Jonathan
Dimson

Jonathan works mainly on fund-raising and also focuses on building the
wider medical and entrepreneurial network that Clinic Africa will require
in the coming years as we expand beyond Uganda.
Jonathan
worked in South Africa several years ago and has honeymooned and holidayed
in numerous other African countries including Egypt, Tanzania, Namibia,
Swaziland and Lesotho. Jonathan is impatient to build the Clinic Africa
franchise into multiple countries supporting hundreds of clinics. He has
worked for entrepreneurial firms in healthcare and retail, and now works
as a management consultant.
Antonia
Henderson
Trustee
Antonia works on fundraising and also focuses on the procedures and administration
for the charity, ensuring Clinic Africa adheres to best practice across
its operations.
Antonia fell in love
with Africa when she was five and has been back many times since including
spending a year running a small NGO on the Namibian/Angolan border. She
has worked in the charitable sector on and off her whole career and has
been a fundraiser for the last four years, focusing mainly on the corporate
sector.
Christopher
Morris
Trustee
Christopher is focused on two aspects of Clinic Africas development;
fund raising and charity promotion.
Christopher is currently
Director of a fast expanding Financial Trading Firm. During the last two
years, he has overseen the company open branch offices in 6 locations
across 3 continents. He now has ongoing, remote management oversight for
this branch network. Before this, Christopher worked within Investment
Banking for several years where he established business relationships
with various African countries as part of his role.
Dr
Lawrence Mugisha
Medical Direction - Clinic Africa (Uganda)
Lawrence runs the medical operations in Uganda. He finds and interviews
potential Clinic Africa doctors and ensures that all our doctors deliver
a consistently high level of care. Additionally, he runs our clinic in
Wakiso.
Lawrence trained
in clinical medicine in Mbale, graduating in 2002. Since then he has practiced
medicine at various clinics in Kampala becoming a founding member of Clinic
Africa (Uganda).
Daryl
Spelman
Trustee
Daryl manages the interface and communications with the operations in
Africa, ensuring all operations on the ground follow the rigorous Clinic
Africa procedures.
Daryl fell in love
with Africa during a summer of teaching junior school children in Kenya.
He first visited Uganda in 2000 for a project as part of his Engineering
degree. He has been back nearly every year since and has no intention
of stopping.
Daryl currently works
as a Management Consultant
Joseph
Tumanyane
Operations Director - Clinic Africa (Uganda)
Joseph runs the day to day operations in Uganda. He is responsible for
finding locations for new clinics, setting them up, and then monitoring
their financial performance.
Joseph is trained
in Biochemistry and IT and lives with his wife Elizabeth and their young
daughter in Kampala.
